Plectostoma charasense (Tomlin, 1948)

Morphology: 

Tomlin (1948) original descriptions on Opisthostoma charasense – “Shell dextral, turriform, smooth, white, umbilicate; whorls 6½, crossed at fairly regular but distant intervals by raised retractive riblets; distal end of last whorl trumpet-shaped, disconnected for some way, with a circular mouth and a flanged peristome; suture very deep.”

Size: 

Opisthostoma charasense – “Dimensions – Long. 2 mm; diam. Max. 1.5 mm” (Tomlin, 1948)

Distribution: 

Type locality – “Bukit Charas, Sungei Lembing, Pahang” leg. M. W. F. Tweedie/1938 (Tomlin, 1948)
