Opisthostoma vermiculum Clements & Vermeulen, 2008

General description: 

Height and width of the shell around 1.5 mm height and 1.0 mm. The total number of whorls between 4.5–5. Shell become uncoiling at the end of second whorl and then detached third whorl returns to reattach to the base of second whorl, followed by a phase of detachment, reattachment and detachment; whorls deviate from primary teleoconch axis to coil around three additional axes.

Biology: 

The biology of the animal is unknown and no living snails has ever been observed.
